After learning how to sleep well and interpret your dreams, it’s time for you to learn the advanced way. After figuring out the main concept of your dream, you do realize that you still miss out something incredibly important, don’t you? Guess…
…
…
There you got it! The details!
This is where symbols come into the picture. Being the images, they are the elements which make up the dream. Every detail, however small, is still a symbol. They can vary from a tea cup to an animal! Hence, in this part of the post, you will learn to break down your dream into pieces and understand it betterJ
Some examples:
1. An empty chest of money can be associated with poverty
2. A funeral can be associated with death and great changes in your life
The first universal symbol that I will introduce today is AnImAlS! Each animal symbolizes an attributes, and in our dreams, can represent some of our very own characteristics/actions. We do not actually use ourselves to represent these attributes in our dreams, as they can appear embarrassing and difficult for us to accept. Hence, animals are used in your dreams as a replacement.
Example: There was a teacher who barked and scolded her students every day for no particular reason. She is aware of this bad habit and wants to change it. However, she can’t bring herself to. Hence, her dream relating to this event will seem like this. She will see a dog barking at a bunch of puppies, in a way that will appear disgusting to her.
Analysis: It does not take a genius to figure this out! The dog represents the teacher while the puppies represent the students, etc.
The second universal symbol will be automobiles. Vehicles tend to represent two main things, namely your direction in life and your body. The condition or type of car you travel in can represent your health, while the direction in which the car is travelling towards represent your direction in life.
Example: A small, beat-up car driving into a tunnel of nothingness.
Analysis: It’s a pretty bad dream! The car represents your bad health while the tunnel shows that you’re really going in circles and not achieving anything.
The third universal symbol is children. A child usually represents something new and joyous. Hence, in your dream, it can be used to show new phase in your life or a new project. Also, the state of the child can represent how well your child is faring. Other than that, it can be used to show your immaturity. The meaning of the symbol depends mainly on your theme.
The fourth universal symbol is clothing. When people have mood swings, they tend to wear different clothing according to their mood. Hence, in your dream, clothing is used to express your feelings. Anger is usually represented by red, Sorrow with blue, etc.
The fifth universal symbol is DEATH. Sounds scary, no? Well, death in your dream might not necessary is scary nor bad. It usually pertains to change. Other than that, it can represent fear, such as fear of death or change. Rest assured, however, that not all dreams concerning death mean literal fear. They do, as stated earlier, represent change. Hence, when you have such dream, such calmly go through the analysis process and see what it means
The sixth universal symbol is buildings. Buildings tend to refer to a specific area of your life, say working place, school, relaxing place, etc. This symbol can mean a lot of different things, depending on the estate. If it’s your childhood home, then it can be a reflection or reminiscing the past. As usual, the state of the symbol, which in this case is building, can mean the events that will happen to you. If there are problems or fights at your childhood place, then it can mean that there will be foreboding events awaiting you.
The seventh universal symbol is people. Well, like the animal symbol, the people symbol represents your attributes, normally positive ones. Having people in your dream is to allow you to reflect, and improve on your character.
